Our Sweet Chestnuts are in full flower. The wood will soon be covered in their falling catkins marking the close of another season at Greencombe. Many thanks to all our visitors who brought so much interest and appreciation. We look forward to welcoming you again in 2025.
“Greencombe: A poem of paths”, a sequence of poems by Ella Duffy, will be published next month by Hazel Press. To mark World Environment Day, Ella will read and discuss her new work in tandem with poet JLM Morton tonight at 7pm BST. Please join and listen at your leisure - no one will see your face.
The garden is closed today due to weather conditions. We intend to reopen on Saturday, 13 April.
